Meet Sarah

I grew up dancing around the living room to Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole and Sinatra, thanks to my jazz-loving dad.

Fast forward to a nervous first jazz jam in 2015, and I’ve never looked back.

From small restaurant sets to weddings, bi-monthly ticketed shows and big band performances, I’ve built a career on connection, energy and timeless music.

My style blends the golden age of jazz with a sassy, modern twist – always engaging, always unforgettable.

Whether it’s a soulful duo or full five-piece band, I work with the best musicians in the business to deliver polished, professional entertainment for events of all shapes and sizes.

FIND YOUR VOICE 🎤✨

I often get asked ‘What’s the best bit of singing advice you could give?’

Years ago when starting out at a Jazz open mic a beautiful singer Lilian, who I so looked up to gave positive words of encouragement but said I needed to find my own voice. Inexperienced and not understanding what she meant it took me a while to get there.

I then realised, while listening along to my idols and trying to emulate their style was a great starting point eventually I needed my voice to sound authentically me. It takes a long time but keep going, practice, take risks and let loose, be you!

COLLABORATION 🎤✨📸

Before Christmas while singing at @georgelittlebrickhill I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the rather fabulous @tyrwhittphoto

Amanda (photographer extraordinaire) and I clicked immediately and she asked if I’d be interested in doing a photography collaboration. With the new fringe and looking a little different I was most definitely up for it!

Amanda usually does video interviews and photography of strangers, despite already knowing each other we thought it pretty cool to break the rules and do a shoot anyway.

MEXICO 🇲🇽 💃☀️

With the grey skies of January I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Mexico, a chance to reset and relax and the perfect way to start 2026.

I think it SO important that we spend time with ourselves and enjoy it. When at home and working most of my days are spent talking and singing so I love nothing more than a bit of solitude, calm and peace, just heaven!!

Mexico and @grandrivieraprincess you had my heart! An absolute haven of beauty, joy and tranquility and I just love how the locals say ‘Ola Lady’, this always made me smile.

A massive part of gigging that I just adore is the fashion and getting ready for a gig. I love nothing more than getting a fabulous charity shop bargain and planning my outfit. My mantra is always if I feel good then that will come out in my performance.

I had the absolute honour of performing with the Mid Herts Jazz Orchestra on Monday for their last gig of the year and oh my what fun was had!

To the incredible Gordon who has been running this amazing band for 65 years and all the gang what a thrill it was to perform with you all.

At Last has always been such a beautiful song to sing but one that I put immense pressure on myself with, it’s a song that I can’t help but sing from the heart and to sing it with a big band makes it even more special. ❤️

I had the most beautiful surprise last week from my dear friend @estivs , the most incredible artist, designer and printer, plus just overall awesome human!

Jan has been designing my business cards, posters and doing all my printing for 10 years and has always been the biggest supporter of my singing.

To celebrate ten years of singing, last week Jan surprised me with a collection of all the posters he’s designed for me over the years.

I was bowled over by his kindness. Jan, the biggest of thank you’s and thank you for being a wonderful friend.

KEY MOMENTS ❤️✨🎤

I just had to share a beautiful moment that literally melted my heart at Saturdays gig.

Myself and the boys have been performing at @pavilioncafeandbar for the last three months. On Septembers gig a beautiful family turned up, consisting of mum, dad and two little cherubs (Nora and Elliot). The children absolutely loved the music and danced the majority of the set.

Anyway, on Saturdays gig we were half way through our first set and suddenly little Nora and Elliot suddenly appeared, ran up to me in their matching onesies shouting ‘Sarah’, Nora gave me a high five and presented me with a paper heart with my name on.

This truly made my day and its moments like this that make my job SO worth while!

Here’s to dearest Nora and Elliot for melting my heart and spreading their joy and sparkle! ✨
